The brilliant metallic marcasite shows up as speckled pieces in a hard agate background. It’s a bit messy to work with, but makes for a brilliant final piece.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe stone has a combination of bluish grey banded agate with some white and translucent segments that have a mass of granular metallic Pyrite. The light-reflecting pyrite gives this stone an alluring and shimmering look.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese earrings are made from Indonesian Marcasite stone, mined on the island of Sumatra.
